"Call of Duty," the first game in the franchise that continues today, was released in 2003 for PC computers. The game is divided into an American, British and Soviet campaign during World War II. Based on the "Quake 3: Team Arena" engine, the game allows gamers to play in a first-person perspective. The game went on to several sequels and made its way to video game consoles as well as future PC releases. Because the game was released in 2003, the requirements for PC gaming then were not as high as standards for current releases.
System Requirements:
ProcessorThe game requires a processor equivalent or greater than to Pentium 3 700 MHz or Athlon 700 MHz. Most current computers contain a higher-speed processor.
RAM
Computers must contain a RAM of 128 MB or greater in order to run "Call of Duty." Most current computers contain a much higher amount of RAM and will meet this requirement.
Hard Drive
Many modern games require a couple of gigabytes of hard drive space to run. This game needs nearly 1.5 GB of space to function.
